South Korea

Travel Itinerary

If Korea isn’t on your travel list yet, it should be. It’s one of those places that totally surprises you—in the best way. Think ancient palaces mixed with futuristic cities, incredible food, rich culture, and some seriously fun experiences you won’t find anywhere else. A must-do? Dressing up in traditional Korean hanbok and getting your hair styled near the palace. It’s such a cool, one-of-a-kind experience that makes you feel like you stepped right into a movie. Totally worth it for the photos and the fun alone. Also—let’s talk shopping. Korea is amazing for it. From trendy clothes and skincare to fun souvenirs and tech, you’ll find all kinds of gems (and probably need to leave room in your suitcase). And if you’re in Seoul, make sure to head up to N Tower. You can take a scenic gondola ride to the top (very Instagrammable, just saying), and once you’re there, don’t forget to add a love lock to the fence—whether it’s for your significant other, your bestie, or just to lock in your love for Korean snacks. It’s a fun little tradition and the views are incredible. If you keep kosher, no worries—there’s a Chabad in Korea that offers kosher meals, so you don’t have to stress about food while you’re exploring. Super convenient, and you can check it all out here. Just a heads up on the weather: winters are freezing and summers can be brutally hot and humid. But spring and fall? Total perfection. Think cherry blossoms, crisp air, and the kind of weather that makes you want to stay outside all day. And no, before you ask—you’re not visiting that Korea. North Korea is not on the itinerary. Unless you enjoy paperwork, military checkpoints, and zero WiFi, stick with South Korea. Much better snacks, too. All in all, Korea is packed with history, energy, and unforgettable moments. Whether you’re into culture, shopping, food, or just soaking up something new— it’s 100% worth the trip.
